Q AND A WITH KCHS GUARD KRIS MILLS
1-What do you think of KCHS chances of winning the district and region?"I think our chances of winning the district looks real good. Our team is playing really well right now,and I believe we can keep it up and carry on into March. For the region you ask anyone and its tought to win it.But in my opinion I think when it comes we will have the greater chance of winning it because I think our team wants it more."

2-We all know your a 2 sport star in basketball and baseball but I have been hearing you might try football next year.Rumors or just coack Smith dreaming?"Well I have always wanted to go out and try football, just to see how much fun it is.As of right now I dont have a clue what I might do.As for coach Smith, he will have to just wait and see, maybe he will get his dream."

3-Coach Elam sure has the team playing well together, whats the big difference this year compared to last?"Coach Elam is a great coach, not only does he coach us he helps us out anyway he can.He believes in us and we believe in him. That the reason were are doing well this season. We have become more closer and playing better as a team.I think we have finally realized how dangerous of a team we are when we play hard."

4-If you could go to the college of your choice what would it be?"Oh thats easy defintely UK."

5-Name your favorite sport you play?"My favorite sport would be basketball."

DAVID VANCES 40 NOT ENOUGH RED BIRD 82 BHS 79
Junior guard David Vance put on a display not seen at BHS since the Bobby McWilliams era with 40 points 12 rebounds and 6 assists, but was all invein thanks to the 3point bombing by Red Bird.THE TIGERS HELD A 39 TO 35 ADVANTAGE AT THE HALF BUT COULDNT OVERCOME A ONSLAGHT OF TREYS FROM RED BIRD.Freshman guard Matthew Cox did his share by scoring a impressive 18 points and dishing 5 assists.Cox is the most impressive freshman I have seen so far this season.Senior Zach Jones was steady as always with 12 points. If you get a chance to see VANCE play go out and do it,because he is worth the price of admission by himself.Next up for BHS is Jellico JAN 7 at the Dinky Dome.
